Dodge Ram Warranty Clerk
We are a local and family-owned dealership not a huge corporation. You, as an individual, will count when working with us. We have an immediate opening at Christopher's Dodge Ram for a Warranty Administrator.
SUMMARY
The Warranty Clerk is responsible for reviewing and completing warranty claims. Primary objectives include ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, and assuring warranty claims are processed correctly the first time.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Will have 3 or more years experience with Stellantis Dealer Connect (formerly FCA or Chrysler) You should be a highly motivated, detail orientated, self-starter who enjoys working as part of a TEAM.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Warranty Clerk is accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below. The list, however, is not necessarily an exhaustive description of the duties and responsibilities associated with the job. The Warranty Clerk also performs other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Managing Complexity
Makes and implements decisions regarding warranty claims.
Analyzes problems, identifies trends and develops strategies for maximizing claim processes.
Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments using the appropriate accounting schedule.
Coordinates activities to ensure warranty claims are processed on time.
Utilizes all available information to ensure proper resolution of problems.
Utilizing Fundamental Skills
Prepares and submits claims for warranty within 24 to 48 hours.
Maintains outstanding claims schedule with no outstanding claims over 15 days old.
Maintains accurate filing system of open claims holding for credit and authorization.
Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as safety requirements, hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, Right-to-Know, etc.
Producing Quality Results
Ensures warranty claims are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitors the processing of all claims to identify problems.
Takes the initiative to exceed customer satisfaction, even if it requires overcoming obstacles.
Follows up with the factory and distributors regarding unpaid claims.

Presents self as a positive role model by demonstrating commitment to the department, customers, dealership and company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The education and experience requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required to perform the primary duties and responsibilities successfully.
Education
Minimum of High School degree or equivalent preferred
Experience
Two years bookkeeping/office experience
